Explanation:

TIME TAKEN IS DISTANCE DIVIDED BY VELOCITY. THEREFORE HERE TIME TAKEN BY TRAIN = 1800/ 90= 20 HR. =20 X 60 MINS= 1200 MINS.

Given:-

  • Distance covered by train (d) = 1800km

  • Speed of train (s) = 90km/h

To Find:-

  • Time taken by train (t).

Solution:-

As we know that

→ Speed = Distance/Time

→ Time = Distance/Speed

→ t = d/s

Substitute the value we get

→ t = 1800/90

→ t = 20h

The time taken by the train is 20 hours.

Additional Information!!

Some equation of motion are

⟹ v = u +at

⟹s = ut +1/2at².

⟹ v² = u² + 2as

Here,

v is the final velocity

u is the initial velocity

a is the acceleration

s is the displacement or Distance

t is the time taken.
