how much time will be taken to cover 10m at the speed of 10 cm per second ?

well user here is the answer...
since we know that time=distance/speed

we can use that...but
here we have a difference in units...so first of all we have to choose a common unit...
for our ease let us take the data in cm...

distance given=10m=1000cm...
speed=10cm/s

using the above relation,
we get
time= 1000/10
time= 100 seconds...
or if asked in minutes..the time will be,
100/60= 1 minute 40 seconds

As 1 m = 100 cm
so 10 m = 10 × 100 cm
= 1000 cm

Speed = 10 cm / second

As we know the formula

Speed = Distance/Time
