• Speed of light ,S = 3×10⁸ m/s

• Distance travelled ,d = 10000 ft

To Find:-

• Time taken ,t

Solution:-

Conversion of unit here

1 metre = 3.37 ft

∴ 10000ft = 348m

As we know that Speed is defined as the distance per unit time .

→ Speed = Distance/time

→ s = d/t

∴ t = d/s

Substitute the value we get

→ t = 348/3×10⁸

→ t = 0.00000116 s

∴ The time taken by the light is 0.00000116 s.
