How much times does a train of length 200m take to pass a stationary train of length 300m if it is travelling at speed of 30 km per hour?

The total distance the train has to cover so as to completely pass the other train = sum if lengths of both the trains = 200+300 = 500m

Now speed of the train = 30km/hr
= 30×5/18 m/s
= 150/18 m/s

Time = Distance / Speed
= 300÷(150/18)
=18 × 2
=36 seconds.
