The total distance the train has to cover so as to completely pass the other train = sum if lengths of both the trains = 200+300 = 500m
Now speed of the train = 30km/hr
= 30×5/18 m/s
= 150/18 m/s
Time = Distance / Speed
= 300÷(150/18)
=18 × 2
=36 seconds.
