The vocal range depends on the training of a singer, a voice type and the natural abilities.
The lower voices have narrower ranges than the higher voices.
Adult male professional singers should possess a two octave working range (less is acceptable for darker voices, such as heldentenor). Falsetto shouldn't be includded into this consideration.
Adult male professional singers may have up to three octave vocal range or more. There took place very rare, temporary, and unstable cases of a 4 octave vocal range. However, the most common soprano range is two octave and a half working range.
