The vocal range depends on the training of a singer, a voice type and the natural abilities.

The lower voices have narrower ranges than the higher voices.
Adult male professional singers should possess a two octave working range (less is acceptable for darker voices, such as heldentenor). Falsetto shouldn't be includded into this consideration.

Adult male professional singers may have up to three octave vocal range or more. There took place very rare, temporary, and unstable cases of a 4 octave vocal range. However, the most common soprano range is two octave and a half working range.

Hey for increasing bocal range you should take classical classes like me and then when you reach 4th year you will automatically see that you can sing in high pitch!!it is due to practice of high notes and yes female have a high vocal range becuz of short vocal chord and men have deep becuz of long vocal chord
