Resistance = 50 ohm

Heat = 1000 joule

Time = 10 sec

We know that ,

 \sf \implies 1000 =   \frac{ {(V )}^{2} \times \cancel{10} }{ \cancel{50}}  \\  \\\sf \implies 1000 =   \frac{ {(V )}^{2} }{5}   \\  \\ \sf \implies {(V )}^{2} = 5000  \\  \\\sf \implies V =  \sqrt{5000}  \\  \\\sf \implies  V = 70.7 \:  \: volt

Hence , the required value of potential difference is 70.7 volt
