Answer:In a plant, the stem consists of vascular tissues bundles which are responsible for the transportation in the plants. One of them is xylem which is responsible for the transportation of water and minerals to the other parts of the plant. The xylem tissue travels around the whole plant with the required water and minerals and deliver it to the leaves.
