Given - Radius of jug - 40 cm

Height of jug - 45 cm.

Find - Amount of water needed to fill the jug.

Solution - The amount of water that will be filled in the jug is the volume of jug.

To calculate the volume of jug, formula used will be - π*r²*h. In the formula R is radius and h is height.

Keeping the values in formula-

Volume = 3.14*40²*45

Volume = 226,195 cm³

On rounding off, the volume of water that can be filled in jug is 226.2 litres.

Hence, water needed to fill the water jug is 226.2 litres.
