Here is your answer.....

Salt = solute = 15 g

Water = solvent = let x

Solution = solute + solvent = (15 + x) g

Mass % = mass of solute / mass of solution ×100

ATQ.

50 = 15/(15+X) ×100

50 = 1500/(15 + X)

50 × (15+X) =1500

750 +50x = 1500

50x = 1500 - 750

x = 750 /50

x = 15

Therefore 15 g of water is needed to make 50 % of solution....
