How much water should be mixed with 12ml of alcohol so as to obtain 12%

alcohol solution?

Given,
Mass of solute=15g
Mass %=15g
Mass%=(mass of solute/mass of solution)×100
mass of solution=(mass of solute/mass%)×100
mass of solution=15/15×100
=100
Mass of solution=100
Mass of solution=Mass of solute+Mass of solvent
mass of solvent=mass of solution-mass of solute
=100-15
=85
Therefore, mass of solvent=85ml
