That much water should be drawn from the ground which can be replenished through rain or melting snow.

Explanation:

  • Rain and snow melting increase and replenish the water table in the ground. Groundwater is depleting at many places of the earth due to the overuse of grown water.
  • So as rain and snow are major sources of replenishing groundwater therefore only that much water should be drawn from the ground which can be replenished by rain or melting of snow so that the water table in our area does not get affected.
