Answer:-

p = 25 w

Given :-

v = 220

p = 100 w

To find :-

The power if the voltage is 110v.

Solution:-

First calculate the resistance of the electric bulb.

Power of electric bulb is given by :-

 \huge \boxed {P = \dfrac{V^2}{R}}

Put the given value ,

 100 = \dfrac{(220)^2}{R}

 100 R = 220 \times 220

 100 R = 48,400

 R = \dfrac{48,400}{100}

 R = 484 \Omega

Now, If the voltage becomes 110v

Now, If the voltage becomes 110vThen,

R = 484 \Omega

 p = \dfrac{(110)^2}{484}

 p = \dfrac{12,100}{484}

 p = 25 w

hence,

The new power will be 25 watt.
