Solution:

Surface area of Sphere = 4πR²

R = Radius of Dome

Radius = Diameter / 2   = 70/2  = 35  cm

π = 22/7

Surface area of Sphere =  4 (22/7) (35)²

= 4 * 22 * 35 * 5

= 15400 cm²

1m = 100 cm

1 m² = 100² cm² = 10000 cm²

=> 15400 cm² = 1.54 m²

Surface area of Dome = 1.54 m²

Rate of charges of Painting =  200 Rs/m²

=> Cost of Paint = 200 * 1.54   =  308  Rs
