how much wire will be needed to make a rectangle 7 cm long and 40m wide​

Solution :

Dimensions of the rectangle:

length (l) = 7cm

width ( w ) = 40m = 4000cm

Wire required = 2(l+w)

= 2( 7 + 4000 )

= 2 × 4007

= 8014 cm

Or

= 80.14 m

solution :

Perimeter of a rectangle =2(l*b )

2(7*40)

2*280

=560

therefore 560 CM wire will be required to make a rectangle
