Efficiency= Work Done/ Heat input = 1-(Min Temp/ Max Temp)

So, x/3000 =1- (300/900)

x/3000 = 2/3

So, x= 2000 kcal

So, work done by the Carnot Engine is equal to 2000 kCal.
