Work done = P∆V

= 2.5(33-3) = 2.5 × 30 = 75

Answer:

Work done by the gas : 75 J

Explanation:

Work done by the ideal gas = P∆V [ where, P = pressure, ∆V = change in volume i.e. ∆V = Final Volume (V2) - Initial Volume (V1) ]

W = P∆V

= 2.5 × ( V2 - V1)

= 2.5 × ( 33 - 2 )

= 2.5 × 30

= 75 J
