How much work is done in moving a charge of 2 coulombs from a point at 118 volts to a point at 128 volts ?

Solution. We know that :

work done =  \:  volts \times charge \: moved

Here,
Volts =128-118
=10 volts
work done, W= ? And, charge moved,Q= 2 coulombs

Putting these values in the above formula, we get:

W = 10*2

work done, W= 20 joules

Answer:

w= V*Q(volt into coulombs)

for,118v

w=V*Q

118*2

236J

for, 128

w= V*Q

128*2

256J

work done for 118v to 128v is

256-236

20J.
