Work = F x S x cos θ

=>θ is the angle between direction of force and direction of displacement.

∴  θ  = 0 degrees (Force and displacement are in same direction)

S(displacement) = 8 cm => 8/100 m => 0.08 m

F = 15 N

W = 15 x 0.08 x cos 0 degrees (cos 0 = 1)

=> W = 1.2 x 1

=> W = 1.2 J

=>Work is 1.2 J .
