We know,

Potential difference = Work done/ Charge

And,

Charge = +- ne

where n is an integer and e is number of electrons

Charge = 9 × 1.6 × 10^-19 Coulomb's

Potential difference = Work done/ Charge

Work done = 18 × 9 × 1.6 × 10^-19

= 162 × 1.6 × 10^-19 JOULES
