Muhammad Ali Jinnah has left behind a wound in India that will not heal. He was responsible for the partition of the country on the basis that Hindus and Muslims were two separate “nations”. Hence, he argued, the Muslims were entitled to a separate, sovereign state carved out of British India that would be their ‘homeland’
British government become weak in India, Everyone came to know that Our country will become Independent soon. but, the main problem was that who will become the Prime minister of India.
Both Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru and Mohammad Ali Jinnah wanted to become Prime Minister. whereas, Jinnah and Nehru's perspective was different on the proposed of partition.
Mohammad Ali Jinnah perspective :- Jinnah says India should be cut up into two, Pakistan and Hindustan, the Muslim nation to occupy Pakistan and the Hindu nation to occupy Hindustan.
Jawaharlal Nehru's perspectives:- He refused two nation theory but . Congress was impatient for power. so, Nehru says there is only sloution of peace that is partition of India.
If not Partition, the bloodbath that claimed the lives of more than 1 million people.
but Nehru was against of partition.
