How museum conserve the sculpture of bronze and marble?

Treatment: removing stains, aged dirt,soiling  

microorganisms. Remove previously applied  

materials  used to glue broken parts.  Clear out  

every particles previously used adhesive.A  

removal conducted chemically and  

mechanically. After cleaning we put in new  

mounting stuff .The goal was to imitate  

transparency of a marble, avoid deep  

penetration in it and shape material without  

damaging original surface.
