ANSWER= -2x-1

let the subtracter number be y

solution:- 3x-y=5x+1

= -y=5x+1-3x

= -y=2x+1

= y=-(2x+1)

= y:- (-2x)+1

if we subtract(-2x)+1 with 3x then the result comes 5x+1

Answer=(-2x)+1
