Nephron helps in urine formation which include:
1) Glomerular filtration : the blood is filtered from the glomerulus into bowman's capsule of the Nephron forming glomerular filtrate which passes through the tubules of th nephron
2) Tubular reabsorption : some substances in the initial filtrate such as glucose, amino acids, salts and a major amount of water are selectively reabsorbed as urine flows out through the tube.
3) Tubular secretion : Urea ,extra water and salts are secreted into the tubule which open into the collecting duct and then into the ureter.
