Net national product (NNP) is the final value of completed goods and services that is produced by a country. It include a nation's citizens both domestic as well as overseas and within a given period.

It can also be described as the gross national product (GNP) after deducting the amount of GNP that is needed to buy new goods for maintaining the current stock.

Therefore, NNP can be calculated as, NNP = Value of Finished Goods + Value of Finished Services - Depreciation or, in other words, NNP can be represented as, NNP = Gross National Product - Depreciation.

Therefore, if there is a heavy population, the GDP will be more as there will be more consumption and vice versa.

Therefore, the Net National Income will vary with a change in population.
