Nicola and Jacopo were real fighters. Even in the worst difficulties, the war could not break their spirits. They continued their struggle against heavy odds. They were self-respecting and never complianed or asked for favours from anybody. They were ready to do any kind of work to earn a living. They sold fruits, sold newspapers, conducted tourists round the town and ran errands. They spent little on their food and clothes. They saved each and every penny which they could earn. They earned the money for the treatment of their sister. Their selfless action, sacrifice devotion to the cause give a new hope for humanity.
