The nitrogen cycle describes how nitrogen moves between plants, animals, bacteria , the atmosphere and soil in the ground.
Nitrogen is the important element to all life on earth.
For nitrogen to be used by different life forms on earth, it must change into different states.Nitrogen in the atmosphere or air is N2.other states of nitrogen are nitrates , nitrites and ammonium.
Nitrogen cycle:
The most important part of cycle is bacteria.
Bacteria helps the nitrogen change between states so it can be used. When nitrogen is absorbed by soil, different bacteria help it to cahnge so it can be absorbed by plants. animals then get their nitrogen from plants.
Process in the nitrogen cycle:
!. Fixation
2. Nitrification
3. Assimilation
4. Ammonification
5. Denitrification.
