Non contact forces affect our lives in many ways.
Gravitation, which is a non-contact force keeps us bound to earth. Without gravitation, there would have been no water or air in earth. Life wouldn't have been possible without gravitation.
The very existence fundamental unit of matter, which is atom, would be impossible without the electrostatic force between nucleus and electrons.
The magnetic force helps us in many ways. It helps in generation of electricity without which all the development of human history would be impossible.
So all these non-contact forces affect us greatly.
