Answer:

How do non-green plants make their own food?

They adopt different methods and are called hetrotrophs. They may opt for parasitic mode of life or lead saprophytic life or in symbiotic mode of nutrition .

Parasitic mode of life parasite gets their nourishment from other living organisms They live at the cost of host plant for their nourishment E.g; Cuscuta - Total stem parasite

Saprophytic mode - They live in dead organic matter and depends upon dead organic matter for this food E.g .Mucor

Symbiosis relationship- In this method bacteria live in the roots of legume plants and both are mutually benefited in this relationship ..Bacteria Rhizobium lives in the roots fixes atmospheric nitrogen In turn it gets food from the partner plant .

Hope it helps you.
