How non-living things like chair,table,etc. can bear atmospheric pressure?

Non living things like table, chair, etc exert Normal force on the force of the atmosphere this can be proved by Newtons third law of motion. Hence when atmosphere exert a force on these things the non living things will also exert an opposing force on them
