NRC: National Register of citizens
it is the official record of legal citizens of the country. It has been applied in Assam . It will show the details of the people who are not legally citizens of the country. It will help to keep out the illegal migrants out from our country . Many people from the neighboring countries are living in our country though they are not the citizens of India. This will check that if all the documents are there then that person is a citizen of the country otherwise they will not be allowed to live here. But if a person wants to become a citizen of India then that person has to live in the country for 4 years but if that person is Muslim he /she have to spend at least 6 years .
