When plants and animals die, they collect in the soil and decompose to replenish the soil with minerals.

We also use fertilizers to add nutrients.

Rain also adds some nutrients, as the nitrogen and certain other nutrients in the air mix with the droplets and come to soil

Answer:

Nutrients are replenished in soil by adding fertilizer and manure and by Rhizobium bacteria which convert nitrogen into soluble form ,the Decomposers are involved in virtually all of the nutrient cycles on the planet. The plants in the consumer level rely on decomposers to break down dead organic material to release the nutrients and elements like carbon, oxygen and phosphorus back into the soil that's how nutrients are replenished in soil
