How one can measure one litre of liquid with the help of 3 litre and 5 litre containers

first fill 3 litres container
pour it into the 5 litres container
again fill 3 litres container
pour the mixture slowly
when the 5 litres container filled fully then stop pouring
then 1 litre will be left in the container
