* By making colonialism...
As British made India as their colonial country and controlled it totally...

* By getting it's market....
One country can import their products on other countries and exert their markets...

1. By war.

In ancient days also winning war was a clear indication of capturing the land of lossed side.

2. By setting its plants.

Here the plants means like industries, we can say that an industry from foreign can, result to capture our land, stating colonialism. .
