The atmosphere of Earth contains a mixture of many gases like nitrogen (78.08%), oxygen (20.95%), carbon dioxide (0.03%) and water vapour (in varying proportion). On the other hand, the atmosphere on Venus and Mars mainly contains carbon dioxide, i.e., about 95-97%. It may be the reason that due to this, no life is known to exist in both Venus and Mars.

Unlike the Earth , which has 0.03% of carbondioxide on the planets Mars and Venus,Carbondioxide forms the major component constituting upto 95% - 97% of the atmosphere.Nitrogen and Oxygen are absent in the planets of Mars and Venus,Unlinke the Earth has (78.08%)nitrogen and (20.94%) oxygen .They also do not have atmospheric water vapour. No life is known as to exist on Mars and Venus, unlike the Earth.
