Answer:
Our planet can produce only a limited amount of water and food. Thus, overpopulation causes environmental damage including deforestation, pollution, etc. Similarly, there is the degradation of the environment which happens because of the overuse of resources like coal, oil, natural gases and more.

overconsumption and overpopulation underlie every environmental problems we face today. Overpopulation is one of the main root for impacting on environment. We require house's to live becuase of overpopulation we would need more building. Since for that we would require wood by this it'll lead to deforestation. If the population grows rapidly we would require more natural resource air, oil or water. And without water every organism can not survive. Apart from we also need water because without it we cannot grow plants. Overpopulation leads increase of demand of food, resource and transportation. Our problem with limited resources is not primarily overpopulation; it is greed. Our problem with pollution is not the invention of fluorocarbons or mass transport; it is irresponsibility. The loss of an acre of forest every second, the mass slaughter of elephants for their ivory, the extinction of entire species of plants, insects and animals all over the world is not something that "just happens" because there are more of us human beings. It happens because the race of ruling beings put in charge has almost wholly lost its sense of stewardship. We have turned away from God.
