For the period of the ovulation process, the matured egg is released by the ovaries prepared to be fertilized. If fertilization does not occur, the uterine walls are shed off and blood will be released from the woman's body. This is known as a female's regular menstrual cycle, also termed a period.....

hope it helps u....... and plz mark it as brain list

Toppr: Any other points for difference
Vinu4141: 1.Ovulation is the process wherein ova or eggs are produced in the ovaries while a period or menstrual period is the process wherein unfertilized eggs and the uterus lining are discharged from the body.
2.Both are part of a woman’s 28-day menstrual cycle with ovulation occurring on the 14th day and the period occurring a few days later when the eggs are not fertilized.
3.Menstruation or period usually lasts from two to eight days while ovulation lasts from five to six days.
Vinu4141: 4.Ovulation occurs when the egg or ova is released from the ovary. If it is fertilized by the sperm, it will form an embryo which will develop into a fetus and eventually into a baby while a woman’s period occurs when the ova or egg is not fertilized causing it to be discharged from the body in the form of blood.
5.Ovulation occurs from the ovaries, and it is in the uterus where the fertilized egg develops while a period occurs from the uterus and exits through the vagina.
