How oxygen travels from air into blood?

Oxygen enters the lungs, then passesthrough the alveoli and into the blood. Theoxygen is carried around the body in bloodvessels. Carbon dioxide moves into theblood capillaries and is brought to the lungs to be released into the air during exhalation.
