ozone forms a layer on stratosphere called as ozone layer which helps the sun's U.V rays to reach the earths surface. the ozone hole is harmful for us because the sun's U.V rays passes through this hole and reaches the earths surface.these U.V rays can cause skin cancer, cataract, genetic disorders etc.
