there were different groups of participants and each group had different demands ....
Peasants:- they were a part of this movement only because they demanded reduction of the revenue which they had to pay to british government ...they asked the government ot reduce the revenue but the government denied ..so they became a part of the movenment.
yet there was another problem which was faced by "poor peasant"it was high land rents ..beacuse of the depression small tenants found it impossible to pay thier high housing or land rents ..so for reducing land rents "poor peasants" participated in this movement
Buisness class :- the business class were hurridely expanding their business but now they faced a problem ..it was the colonial restriction on buisness activities ..they wanted protection against the competition which will be bring by the import of foreign goods ...to organise business interest they formed Federation of the Indian Chamber of Comerce and Industries (FICCI) led ny thakurdas and GD birla
Industrialist:- many did not took part in this movement except the indutrialist in nagpur ...they took part in this movement to fight against low wages and poor working conditions
thats all i know ..hope u find it informative :)
