When we test the solution with pH paper or with pH strips, the colour of pH paper changes. And comparing the colour in pH chat, we can know the pH value of the solution.

If pH is between 0 and 3,it is strong acid. If it is between 3 and 7, it is weak acid.

If it's pH is 7, it is neutral solution.

If it's pH is between 7 and 10, it weak base. And if it is between 11 and 14 it is strong base.

pH value of a substance lies between 0 and 14.
