pH scale is an indication of acidity/alkalinity. The pH scaleis a measure of the concentration of hydrogen ions (acid) or hydroxyl ions (alkali) in a solution. 'Weak' acids are in some common foodstuffs such as vinegar and citric acid. ... A pHvalue less than 7 is said to be acidic.

In a pH scale, the neutral point is 7. And lower point of 7 like 6,5,4 etc denote the acidity, higher point of 7 denotes the basicity likr 7.6,8,9 etc
