How phototropism occur in plants? ​

when sunlight hits on the stem the auxins move to the shaded part and hence that part grows more and hence the plant will lean to sunlight

When sunlight falls on one side of the stem of the plant the auxins, which helps in the growth of the stem diffuses to the other side which not sunlight falls. Then the auxins cause the growth of that side than the side exposed to sunlight. So the plant appears to bent towards sun.

Since this is called phototropism.
