It’s actually the neurotransmitters that take message from one nerve cell to another. Neurotransmitters are chemicals that are released by neurons through its axon in a synapse. Synapse is intracellular space between the two neurons which are to communicate. The other neuron catches the chemical signal through its dendrite extended into a synapse.
