Plants can get nitrogen to synthesise protein by- 1) They modify some parts of their body such as apex of leaf and change themselves to become insectivorous plants. 2) Leguminous plants like- pea plants, etc. have rhisobium bacteria in their root nodules which also provide them nitrogen. HEY MATE HERE IS YOUR ANSWER!!

Ways by which plants obtain nitrogen to synthesis food are:-

i) Nitrogen is present in abundance in the gaseous form in the air. However plants cannot absorb this nitrogen directly fro the air in the gaseous form. Soil has certain bacteria that can convert gaseous nitrogen into a soluble form and release it into the soil. These soluble forms are absorbed by the plant along with water.

ii) Farmers add manure rich in nitrogen into the soil. In this way they can fulfill their requirements of nitrogen and other constituents.

iii) When leguminous plants are grown in soil after the normal crops in the field. Rhyzobium bacteria present in the root nodules of th leguminous plants are capable of fixing the atmospheric nitrogen into a soluble form and release it into the soil, thereby making the soil fertile. These nutrients are absorbed by the plants to make proteins.
