Because plastic is used instead of most of the heavy, bulky and very expensive material. So, most of the consumer products of work become very cheap compared to previous version and this market unbalance can lead to rise and fall in economic conditions of a country.

It changed the world socially because most of the things available now were more beautiful and more colorful. This make the world more beautiful. Just what if plastics were not invented? Can computers, mobile phones, music devices, house hold products, cars and other vehicles and other products will be unimagenable (means bulky, not so beautiful, portable and colorful, products)
