First of all let me define democracy. Democracy is a system of governing an organization by the collective decision of its members or whole population in case of the nation. Now in political democracy population of the state elects its representatives in order to run the government which takes decisions regarding law making, governance, resource distribution, crisis management, international relations, economics of the state, social welfare measures, safety and security of the nation and most importantly realizing the strength and development of the nation in order to well being of its people and their future. Its a very responsible job.

Indian constitution under its Part III provides the right to freedom. Article 19(iii) there is freedom to form association which includes formation of political parties too. Under the same right we have the right to form cooperative societies which is also a sort of political freedom. Also outside the fundamental right portion of the constitution Article 325 enable all its citizens above an age of 18 years right to cast its vote in the electoral process irrespective of religion, race, caste, sex, place of birth. Article 326 ensures all its citizens to contest the elections.
