Answer: The answer is simple that the govornment cannot give time to everything properly so after independence govt. privatised most of the companies that we now see privatised. Also water treatment or water industry is very costly because of the machines used in the work. So mst of the water industry is privatised. But every good thing has a demerit too, i.e., the owners of the private water companies are money minded so the increase the cost of the water which makes it difficult for an average citizen to buy water.
