Because DNA is in the nucleus and ribosomes are in the cytoplasm, your cellsneed to rely on RNA, or ribonucleic acid, to transfer the information. The first phase of protein synthesis is known as transcription, which is the process by which information in DNA is copied into a new format.

Hey there!


There are many types of proteins synthesized in the cell as per the requirement of the cell.

Proteins are synthesized on ribosomes attached to the surface of endoplasmic reticulum. The synthesized proteins are packaged and modified in Golgi apparatus an then in the form of vesicles move to different parts of the cell where they are required such as plasma membrane, mitochondrion,etc.
