Radioactive materials can cause cancer due to the harmfull radiation released by them which cause mutation and changes in the the cells of human beings


bawankararvindpawp60: but how cell are change and how only ionised radation can damage but non ionsed can not damage you
jk07082002: Non-ionizing is potentially less harmful than the latter because radiation of this type has less energy than ionizing and can cause molecules to move in an atom but it cannot remove electrons.
