Range of projectile= Horizontal distance covered by the body
If the body is thrown at an angle theta with the horizontal with velocity u
Distance covered in horizontal direction= horizontal component of velocity × total time of flight (t)
= ucos theta× t
So, Range of projectile =ut when cos theta=1
i.e.theta is 0°
